Folks we have yet another addendum to the Sabbath Pattern. The Lord has done an amazing and stunning thing in our sight and has given a guide as to how we are to follow his Sabbath Days!
First let us examine the clues that we find in scripture. What we are going to show is that the Sabbath days are on the following days EVERY month; the 1st begins the month. The pattern is as follows: 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th. These are the Sabbath days each and every month. How can the Sabbath be on these same days every month? The answer is actually very simply. It is because the month always beings on the First, but of course the month begins on the 1st. The word month is Strong's #2320. It means NEW MOON. It is obvious here that the month begins with the New Moon. This means that every New Moon is the FIRST day of that MONTH. Something that is seemingly obvious, yet very profound when we think about it. Why? Because the pattern we follow for the Sabbath is to count from New Moon to New Moon. Isaiah 66:23: And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one Sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD. Count from month to month for the Sabbath days.
In Ezekiel 46:1 the Lord says "Thus saith the Lord GOD; The gate of the inner court that looketh toward the east shall be shut the six working days; but on the Sabbath it shall be opened, and in the day of the new moon it shall be opened". Notice that it is open in the day of the New Moon as well as the Sabbath day. So we see that the New Moon is a very important time and it is even related to the Sabbath.
The First Day of the month also seems to be a type of Sabbath and a very important day. It does not seem to be a strict Sabbath like every seventh day would be when counting from the First of the Month. For example in Exodus 40:2 we read that: "On the first day of the first month shalt thou set up the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation". They were instructed to work and set up a Tabernacle on this day. In Ezra we see "upon the first day of the first month began he to go up from Babylon, and on the first day of the fifth month came he to Jerusalem, according to the good hand of his God upon him." Ezra the scribe was traveling on this day and we would assume that he had a load and since this is forbidden on the Sabbath then it seems that it was not a strict Sabbath day. In II Kings 4:23 we read "And he said, Wherefore wilt thou go to him to day? it is neither new moon, nor Sabbath. And she said, It shall be well". So here is yet another example that the New Moon is very important and linked with the Sabbath. It seems to have meaning similar to a Sabbath. In Ezekiel 46:1 "when the gate is opened on the Sabbath AND the New Moon" implies also that the New Moon and Sabbath are related somehow.
In Numbers 10:10 we read that "the day of your gladness, and in your solemn days, and in the beginnings of your MONTHS, yea shall blow with the trumpets over your burnt offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings; that they may be to you for a memorial before your God: I am the LORD your God."
So it seems from scripture that the first day of the month can be seen as a day like the Sabbath. A day of assembly and a day of sacrifices and blowing of the Trumpet, even a time of feasting. The first of the month does not seem to b a strict Sabbath day like the other days. The effect of the day seems to be the same as a Sabbath and yet I cannot find a scripture that says that the First day of the Month is always a Sabbath in the same sense as the regular Sabbath day. Except of course in Leviticus 23:24 were we read about the First Day of the Seventh Month being a special day of solemn assembly, blowing of the trumpet and a Sabbath.
Thus for counting to the Sabbath day we see the following: on the 1st day of the month we then count seven days and come to the EIGHTH day and this IS a Sabbath day. We do not count the first day of the month or New Moon as the first day of the work week. This day is treated like a Sabbath, so the counting of the work week starts the next day. This day is actually the second day of the month. It is this way every month. When we count six days and rest on the seventh we start at the second day of the month and come to the EIGHTH day of that month. Then when we keep counting of course we see an obvious pattern. We count from the eighth another seven days to come to the 15th and this is the next Sabbath.
Follow this pattern and you will see that the next two Sabbaths in the Month are on the 22nd and the 29th. So we have 8,15,22 and 29. This is a pattern that is in scripture, BUT it is not crystal clear. It is done this way on purpose by the Lord. It has been "hidden" to some degree. When we see this pattern that the eighth day is actually the Sabbath day we start to see other events in scripture that have more meaning. For example in Leviticus 14:9 a leper is working to clean himself off and it was the seventh day. He was doing work and it was not a Sabbath because the seventh day of the month/New Moon is not the Sabbath day, it was the next day or the eighth day that the Leper was clean by priest. Also remember that a male child is circumcised on the eighth day and that this was a SIGN between God and his people. It was a sign as the Sabbath is a sign and the Sabbath starts on the 8th day of every New Moon/month.
When we look at the Feast of Tabernacles for example we see that the Sabbath days during this feast are on the 15th and 22nd days. The same as the Sabbath pattern of 1,8 from above as the Sabbath at the Feast of Tabernacles is on the first (15th day) and the eighth(22nd) of the seventh month . In other words this Feast is pointing us in the direction of the Sabbath days.
We have a few examples to build on from scripture. Here is one of the best ones that I have found. In Exodus when the children of Israel fled Egypt they were given a Sabbath on the First day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, of course this was the 15th. So they had a Sabbath on the 15th day of that month. When we carefully read Exodus 16:1 we see that the children of Israel murmured against Moses on the 15th day of the SECOND month. This is crucial to see that it was the second month. They had a Sabbath on the 15th of the first month that they came out of Egypt and now the children of Israel are murmuring on the SAME day of the SECOND month. Next in Exodus 16 we see that the Lord brings "flesh to eat" beginning at the end of the day of the 15th. The next morning the Lord gives manna. Then in verse 26 it say that they gathered it for 6 days and then came the Sabbath. Folks this is a "gem" of information here. First we observe that this started on the 15th and it IS stated that seven days later is a Sabbath. The 22nd!
There is more. Notice that this is the SECOND month. It was in the First month that the Lord said that the fifteenth is a Sabbath day. They have had a Sabbath day on the 15th for TWO MONTHS IN A ROW now. How can this be on any `regular calendar"? What I mean is if we are supposed to simply follow the "every seventh day" scenario or some other calendar then the Sabbath could not fall on the same date two months in a row. It is on the same date because the 15th of every month for the Israelites is a Sabbath day.
Also we can think of this another way. We have a day of Preparation for the Passover and then they would kill the Passover Lamb. So they prepared and killed all on the 14th day of the first month for the Passover meal. What if the 14th of Nisan in any given year happened to also fall on a Sabbath? Then what would be done? How could they WORK and prepare to kill the Lamb if it were a Sabbath? Why does the Lord not give provision for such a possibility? Would the Lord tell them to break the Sabbath to get ready for the Sabbath? The answer is because the 14th day of the month would never be a Sabbath day as they are always on the 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th of the months.
In the writings of Josephus we find an interesting account of a war of the Romans against the Jews. In book 14, chapter 4.3 (page 459 if you have the Complete Works of Josephus sold by James Lloyd) we read that …."on those days which we call Sabbaths they (Romans) threw nothing at the Jews, nor came to any pitched battle with them; but raised up their earthen banks and brought engines into such forwardness, as they might do execution the NEXT day". What this is saying is that the Jews did not fight on the Sabbath so the Romans prepared various armaments against them on the Sabbath because they would not fight back. When we read down about eleven lines on the same page we find a reference to the aforementioned passage. It is #3 and it says: "that is, the 23rd of Sivan, the annual fast for the defecation and idolatry of Jeroboam…" Did you catch that? If you read the passage it says that they might "do execution" the next day. So here is a Sabbath day that they set the war engines up and the next day is when it appears the city is taken. The footnote says that the next day was the Twenty Third. Of course this means that the previous day, being a Sabbath was the 22nd and that is why the Romans were bringing engines against them on the 22nd and took the city the next day. And Josephus even mentions that it was the Sabbath. An interesting example outside of the scriptures.
Also we now have an understanding as to what is known as the "prophetic month" or PM. The PM is an exact 30 day cycle and has been used by scholars for centuries to calculate various prophetic statements in the scriptures. For example, the PM is used in the calculations that Daniel gives concerning his prophecy of the 70 weeks in chapter 9. Prophetic months are used In Revelation 13 and Revelation 11 wherein is discussed the 42 moons of anti-Christ and the 1,260 day of the Two Witnesses. 1,260 divided by 42 comes out to exactly 30 days each. Also in Revelation 9 we read that the "scorpions" are upon the earth for 5 months. When we look at these months as PM months then we see that five months is 150 days; the same amount of days that the Flood Waters prevailed upon the earth in Genesis 7:24. So what we have here is an understanding that the PM is exactly 30 day. When we use the correct Sabbath dating we not only see that the New Moon is the first day of the next month, but it is also the "30th day". Daniel the prophet used the correct Sabbath dating that we are talking about herein and this is WHY each of the months in his prophetic utterances are thirty day months. They are "Sabbath day" months. Although the New Moon is called the first day of the month; the TWO OVERLAP. The first day is also the 30th day. The thirtieth day is the first day. The FIRST IS THE LAST AND THE LAST IS THE FIRST. The beginning and the end; the Alpha and the Omega. The last IS the SAME as the first and the first IS the SAME as the last. The two overlap as they are the SAME. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. This correct view of the Sabbath month point us towards Christ.
Now we have a grasp that the Sabbath falls on the 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th of the month. Next look back at our "pattern" given by the Lord and we see that we have a "one eight, one eight pattern". This is more confirmation that we have this correct as the one eight follows the same one eight pattern of the Sabbath days. That is the FIRST of the month starts the counting of the 6 day work week and thus we come to the day of rest. When we count seven days, starting at the First of the month, but NOT including the First day as a work day then we come to the eighth day as the first Sabbath. So the second day of the month is actually the first day of the work week. The rest day or seventh day is the Sabbath and this would ALWAYS be the 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th of the month. Starting at the first day of the New Moon. So the one eight pattern shows us that we are to count the first work day AFTER the first New Moon or first of the month.
From other writings I can see that people argue over counting the Sabbath by including the First day of the month---that is do we count the New Moon or NOT? When it is included we get the following: Sabbath on 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th. It may seem to make sense and there are a lot of sevens in this so one may tend to think that this is the correct way. Scripture says that every seventh day is a Sabbath; it does not say that the seventh of the month is a Sabbath. This pattern is incorrect. When we see scripture where we can find the actual Sabbath day it is on either the 8th, 15th, 22nd or 29th. Also notice that this pattern breaks the "one eight" pattern described above. The "one eight" pattern confirms the Sabbath to be as follows: 8th, 15th 22nd and 29th. The pattern of our earlier work is given by the Lord as a GUIDE. Soon we will also see a "1,2" pattern as in our earlier work on this subject. When we look the Month of September where this all started it becomes obvious that the Lord is communicating to his servants as to how we are to count his Sabbath days. We have been saying that the Sabbath is on Wednesday and when we look at September we the 8, 15, 22, 29 pattern for all the Wednesday's in the month. Of course next Month the Sabbath will be on a different day.
Notice first that we have started this whole thing in the month of September 2004. In this month the true Sabbath day is on Wednesday, beginning on the 15th. The dates for the Wednesday Sabbath in September are as follows: 15th, 22nd and 29th. If we look at all the Wednesday in that month we see" 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th! The pattern that is in scriptures! The Lord has chosen to use THIS month of September 2004 as a guide to show us the truth. In fact next month in October the Sabbath moves to Friday and we see the SAME 15th, 22nd and 29th pattern! A second month that follows this pattern. A second witness. After that the pattern of days on the Gregorian calendar with OUR Sabbath days changes and in the month of November the Remnant will then start counting our months in a different way than the people of the Anti-Christ. Think about that.
There is yet more. Not only does the Gregorian calendar in Sept. and Oct. point us towards our days of the Sabbath, but so does the so-called Hebrew calendar of the Jews. Which calendar is ALSO apostate. The Remnant of Israel are the only ones that are going to be following the true Sabbath day. And the pattern form our earlier work shows us when exactly we are to keep and count our Sabbath days. This is WHY the Lord did not show us anything but a pattern at first; that way WE could all see how we are supposed to count the Sabbath! It is confirmed in all of this as the pattern of numbers that keep showing up is either 8, 15, 22, or 29. Now we know why we kept seeing all those patterns and eleven's. Now that we understand this we see that the so-called Jewish/Hebrew calendar is off by ONE day in September 2004. And it does not even matter how much it is off or not because the are keeping SATURNday as their Sabbath no matter when the month begins. They of all people should know that this is not the way to count the Sabbath. Why do the so-called Jews in Israel do this? Money! If the Sabbath were different every month then how much would be lost in revenue in Israel if the entire country basically shut down on for example, every Wednesday in a given month? Millions of dollars at least.
I noticed people on the web also disagreeing as to WHEN do we start the New Moon? Some said the night of the New Moon as seen on the "regular" or Gregorian calendar and others say we should wait until we see the first sliver of the Moon which could be 1-3 days later. Scripture does not seem to be too clear on this issue. So what is the answer? The answer is in the pattern 8, 15, 22, 29 given by the Lord as seen above. In this we see that we are to count the First day of the New Moon as the night of when we read "New Moon" on their Gregorian calendar. The day begins that night. So the first day of the month would begin the following day that the Gregorian calendar says "New Moon".
For example, when the Gregorian calendar says "New Moon" on Tuesday September 14th then the first day of the month for us begins that night and the next day OR September 15th is the first day of the month. This is where we begin to COUNT the next Sabbath. September 15th is the First of Tishrei. So we count seven days starting AFTER September 15th which is the First day of the seventh month and of course we come to the eighth day of the month and the FIRST Sabbath for that month. In 2004 this would be September 22nd. This date would be the eighth of Tishrei or the eighth day of the Seventh month. In October we see that the New Moon on their calendar is Thursday October 14th. This puts the start of the New Month on Friday, October 15. Count seven days to October 22nd and you have your first Sabbath for that month which will be on Friday the 22nd.
The first day or the New Moon can basically be looked at as a type of Sabbath day.
It appears that the New Moon is not a strict Sabbath day like all the others, yet scripture seems to imply that it considered to be like a Sabbath. I do not think it is to be looked at as "another" Sabbath day to be kept in the like manner of the previous Sabbath which you will see when we do this is only one or two days prior. So it appears that when the New Moon/New Month change over occurs each month we end up having had an extra day or two before the Next Sabbath of the New Month. This is because the last month you will find the Sabbath ended only a day or two before the Next month or New Moon begins.
One can say that scripture states that it is every "seventh" day that we should have a Sabbath so how can we have an extra day or two before a Sabbath? Good point and the answer is simple. In the layered understanding of the New Moon/First day of the Month Sabbath pattern we ARE counting six work days after this day of the New Moon. As stated scripture does not seem to indicate that the New Moon is a Sabbath, only that it appears to have the SAME EFFECT as a regular Sabbath. So we treat it as a Sabbath and then start counting seven days. We are to use the New Moon/New Month change over as our GUIDE to keeping the Sabbath. Like it says in Isaiah 66:23: "And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one Sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD". Notice that there is some sort of delineation between the Sabbath day and the New Moon, yet they seem to be similar and are often mentioned in scripture together. Also in Ezekiel 46:1 the Lord says "Thus saith the Lord GOD; The gate of the inner court that looketh toward the east shall be shut the six working days; but on the Sabbath it shall be opened, and in the day of the new moon it shall be opened". Here the two days are again implied to be different yet the New Moon goes right along with the Sabbath. We see the New Moon is the start of our counting for the next seven days to the first Sabbath of that month which will ALWAYS be on the 8th and the next Sabbath will always be on the 15th etc.
Now back to our pattern. Above I mentioned how in September the Sabbath is on a Wednesday and in October it is on a Thursday. ONE DAY difference. Now the next Sabbath day in November is a Saturday. A TWO day difference. The Next Sabbath day in December is a Monday. A TWO day difference from the past month. If you look at these ONE and TWO day differences for all of 2004 we see the following starting in January: 1, 2 1, 2, 2, 1, 2, 2, 1, 2, 1, 2.
1 2
1 2
2 1
2 2

LOOK FAMILIAR?
It should; it is the pattern from our Sabbath pattern described in our earlier work.
I have done this out to 2006 and it continues as the same pattern.
(Yes starting the moon at any time around the date given on the Gregorian Calendar will give this 1,2 pattern, BUT when starting at our time we see that we get the Sabbath days on "1", 8, 15, 22, and 29 in September and October. And it should be obvious by now that the Lord had us do all of this in the month of September so that we could see clearly that the Sabbath pattern is to follow a 8, 15, 22, 29 pattern. This is also consistent with the examples that we get in scripture).
This is how we are supposed to count the New Moon/New Months: Starting from the night that it is mentioned on their Gregorian calendar.
Here is a website that you can print all the New Moon phases from now until 2008; which I recommend you do—soon.
http://aa.usno.navy.mil/data/docs/MoonPhase.html
All this may be a bit overwhelming. Let's make it simple. Print out the New Moon calendar above and to find the New Moon or the first day of the month simply add ONE day to the time the chart says "New Moon". For example, the chart says that in January 2004 the New Moon is the 21st. So the Month starts the night of the 21st which would actually be the 22nd of January or simply put the month starts on the 22nd. So the first day of this month begins on January 22nd. This is a Thursday, so the first Sabbath is the following Thursday which would be the 8th day of that month.
In February the chart says the New Moon is on the 20th. So the month will start on the 21tst which is a Saturday. So the first Sabbath day in February is the following Saturday which marks the eighth day of that month and so on. Now to find the Lord's feast day's we simply keep track of what month we are in. We know that this month of September 2004 is the seventh month. Keep in mind that Jesus said that the last days will be similar to the days of Noah and the evidence suggests that in Noah's day the Seventh Month was actually the First Month. We have dual calendar fulfillment in these last days to consider.
Psalm 104:19: "He appointed the moon for seasons"
The first day of the Seventh Month from the days of the Passover/Exodus.
The First day of the First Month from the days Noah.
Glory to the Lord God of Abraham , Isaac and Jacob.
Remember the Sabbath day to keep it HOLY……
