{The following are the patterns that pertain to the Wednesday Sabbath as put forth by Michael Taube and Sue Patterson on the Threshing Floor, September 8^th 2004. These "patterns" were the initial understanding and were subsequently refined to discover that the Sabbaths "float" in the lunar cycle and were NOT a fixed day.—Randy Maugans }

What we believe the Lord has shown us is that the Sabbath Day is on Wednesday (note: this was later revised to the "floating sabbath patterns)and that this will be a very important understanding for the 144,000 Remnant of Israel during the Great Tribulation. For the following study it is essential to have a calendar that has both the Gregorian and the Hebrew Months. The best spot that we have seen to get this information is from www.hebcal.com. There you can print out the two calendars all the way to the end of 2008.

What we are looking at here are specific patterns that emerge when we see the Lord’s Sabbath day as falling on what is called Wednesday. For this pattern we will start with September 8, 2004 which is ALSO the 22^nd of the Hebrew Month of Elul. It is important to recognize that both calendars will be used for the pattern that unfolds here. I hope to make a list that you can take and write on your calendars for ease of understanding.

September 8, 2004 is also the 22^nd of Tishrei. Here we see that Sept. 8^th is a Wednesday, thus making it a Sabbath Day. It is also the 22^nd of Tishrei which also makes it an "11 11" day. ("11 11" because 22 is 11+11). We are pointing out the number 11 because when this pattern is complete there emerges an unmistakable peculiarity here with the number eleven. There is one Sabbath day here.

---So we have ONE Sabbath and an association with TWO "eleven’s".

The next Sabbath is September 15, 2004 AND it is the 29^th of Tishrei. Here we have TWO Sabbath days. Sept. 15^th is a Sabbath because it is a Wednesday and September 16^th is a Sabbath day because it is the First Day of the Seventh Month. The first day of the Month of Tishrei. The Day of the Blowing of the Trumpet per Leviticus 23:24 is a Sabbath day.

As mentioned Sept. 16^th is also the first day of the Seventh Month. So here we see YET another pattern that emerges starting with this Sabbath week. This second Sabbath day, being September 16^th is also the FIRST day of the Seventh Month. It being the "first" day it can also be called the "eighth" day. In other words the first day of the week and the "eighth" day of the week would be the same day. Or explained another way: Sunday can be viewed as the First day of the week OR as the eighth day of the week. Finally, the Sabbath day on the 15^th is also the 29^th if Tishrei. This is an "eleven" (2+9=11).

---So for this next Sabbath dates we have TWO Sabbath days and an association with ONE "eleven" and the second Sabbath day, being Sept. 16^th is also the "FIRST DAY" (of Tishrei).

--THUS: TWO Sabbaths; ONE eleven and FIRST DAY.

Next we come to September 22^nd which is the first day of Fall and also the Wednesday Sabbath. Here we have one Sabbath. And it is also the 22^nd of Sept. which makes this an "eleven eleven" Sabbath. Notice here that the Next day is the 8^th of Tishrei. It is not a Sabbath, but notice that it being the eighth day will now begin to manifest another pattern as last weeks Sabbath was associated with the First Day of Tishrei.

So for this week we have the following:

---ONE Sabbath, TWO "eleven’s" and an the "EIGHTH" day.

Notice now that we have a "First"Day and an "eighth Day" in the past two Sabbath weeks. This pattern of "1,8 1,8" continues in the next two Sabbath weeks. Keep in mind that "first day and eighth" day are the SAME day and it indicates that the previous day was a SABBATH day as the "eighth" day would be the day after the seventh day and the seventh day being a Sabbath day! This is why we are pointing this pattern of 1,8 1,8 out. Because it seems to be giving us a clue that Wednesday IS the Sabbath Day.

Now the next Sabbath Wednesday. This is the 29^th of September. Here we have TWO Sabbath days. First we have the Wednesday Sabbath on the 29^th of September or the 14^th of Tishrei and the next day is also a Sabbath as it is the FIRST day of the Feast of Tabernacles. This day is a Sabbath day per Leviticus 23:33-36. Notice that this is the FIRST day of the Feast of tabernacles; this goes with last weeks "eighth". Also notice it is the 29^th of Sept. and that is 2+9=11, so we have one ‘eleven" also.

--So for this week we have TWO Sabbath days and ONE eleven and it is the FIRST day.

You may be noticing now that when there is ONE Sabbath day we find an association with TWO "eleven’s" and when we have TWO Sabbath days we find an association with ONE "eleven". One, two---two, one…. A perpetual reverse pattern.

For this last Sabbath week of October 6^th and 7^th we have TWO Sabbath days and TWO eleven’s. October 6^th is a Sabbath because it is a Wednesday and October 7^th is a Sabbath because it is the "eighth" day of the Feast of Tabernacles which is a Sabbath per Leviticus 23:36. Notice that the pattern of "eleven’s" has been broken and we end with TWO of them, just as we started with two ‘eleven’s" on the 22^nd of Elul we now end the same way on the 22^nd of Tishrei or October 7^th.

--So we have TWO Sabbath days and TWO "eleven’s" and it is the EIGHTH day.

Here we examine the Sabbath of October 6^th. October 6^th is a Sabbath day because it is a Wednesday and the next day is Sabbath because it is the EIGHTH day or the day after the Feast of Tabernacles. As mentioned it is an "eighth day Sabbath" because the day after the Feast of Tabernacles or the eighth day is a Sabbath per Leviticus 23:36.

Here we see that October 6^th is ALSO the SEVENTH Day of the Feast of Tabernacles. This observation is what started us on this whole idea of the Sabbath being on Wednesday. From previous writings that we have done October 6^th is the day that we are saying that the Two Witnesses could arrive. They arrive on the SEVENTH Day (of the Feast of Tabernacles). Of course we know that the seventh day is the REST day or Sabbath. So here we believe we have a clue that this seventh day of the Feast of Tabernacles is the Sabbath day. This Wednesday Sabbath was originally based on an observation of when the Two Witnesses could arrive on October 6^th. It becomes evident that even without this event having yet occurred (if it does occur) that we see this very peculiar Pattern emerge. A pattern that involves the day Wednesday and the seventh day of the Feast of Tabernacles seeming to point the way to the true Sabbath day.

Thus we see the following pattern when starting at September 8^th , 2004 and going to October 7^th , 2004:

-ONE Sabbath Day TWO "eleven’s"

-TWO Sabbath Days ONE "eleven" and it is the " First Day"

-ONE Sabbath Day TWO eleven’s and it is the " Eighth Day"

-TWO Sabbath Days ONE eleven and it is the First Day

-TWO Sabbath Days TWO eleven’s and it is the Eighth Day

OR looked at another way we see the following:

…what this all means we don’t know as of yet. Other than a peculiar pattern has been found linked to what we think is the Sabbath day. Let the reader study to show thyself approved judge for themselves.
